About me

Who am I?

I’m André Ferreira a Portuguese guy based in The Netherlands.

I´m a Materials Engineer by training, a Mechanical Design Engineer by trade and a 3D Printing Enthusiast by heart.

I first came in contact with 3D printing back in 2015 and since then it has become my part-time/hobby. 

What do I do?

The decision to create The 3D Smith was made in the summer of 2019, but I only started actively working on it in early 2020.

My objective is to share 3D Printing and 3D Modeling content with the world, get people interested in a technology that is already changing the world and most importantly support the community with the knowledge I gained over the years.
